Faculty of Built Environment Receives TV, Coffee Maker Donation from AMS & Sons

The Faculty of Built Environment (FoBE) at the College of Art and Built Environment, KNUST has received a donation of a 55-inch Samsung Smart TV and a coffee maker from AMS & Sons Construction Co. Ltd. 

The donation fulfils a pledge made by the company's Chief Executive Officer, Mr.Brookman Asare Dadzie, during a recent visit to the Faculty's newly occupied offices.

 Presenting the items, Mr. Dadzie commended the Faculty's management for the quality of its office environment and said the donation was intended to support staff welfare while enhancing presentations, meetings, and other administrative activities within the Faculty.

 He reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting the Faculty's efforts to advance teaching, research, and professional training in the built environment sector.

 Receiving the items on behalf of the Faculty, Prof. Emmanuel Adinyira expressed appreciation to AMS & Sons for its continued support and partnership.

 He described the company as a valued stakeholder of the Faculty and recalled its contribution towards the successful organisation of the CIB W099 & W123 International Conference in 2024.

 Prof. Adinyira assured the company that the donated items would be put to good use and welcomed deeper collaboration in research, innovation, and the provision of equipment and resources to support the training of future built environment professionals.

 The donation further strengthens the longstanding relationship between the Faculty and AMS & Sons, highlighting the role of industry partnerships in supporting academic excellence and capacity building at KNUST.
