CABEESA
ABOUT CABEESA-KNUST (A BRIEF HISTORY)
CABE-KNUST refers to the student association of the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. CABE itself was established in January 2005 as one of the university’s constituent colleges under the collegiate system, formed by merging the former Faculty of Environmental and Development Studies and the Institute of Land Management and Development to better deliver interdisciplinary education in art, design, planning, land economy and built environment disciplines.
Within this academic context, CABEESA-KNUST (CABE Students’ Association) was formed as the official representative body of students in the College. The association brings together students from all faculties and programmes under CABE to promote their welfare, foster unity, and create opportunities for academic, social, cultural, and professional growth.
