The award, introduced for the first time at WAMPEX 2026, recognizes exhibitors who demonstrated exceptional promotional impact and audience engagement before and during the exhibition. MAC Partners Group secured the award after recording the highest number of visitor registrations through a targeted and personalized marketing campaign.
Mr. Aboagye, who graduated from CABEβs Communication Design programme under the Faculty of Arts, currently serves as Marketing Lead at MAC Partners Group. He described the recognition as a significant achievement for both himself and the organization.
βThis is a recognition of the dedication, creativity, and strategic effort we have invested over the years in building the MAC Partners brand and positioning the company as a leading mining support services provider in West Africa,β he said.
Reflecting on his journey from the studios and lecture halls of CABE to leading marketing initiatives in the mining sector, Mr. Aboagye credited his education at KNUST for laying the foundation for his professional success.
βMy education at KNUST provided the foundation for my professional journey by developing my creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills,β he stated.
According to him, the Communication Design programme equipped him with the ability to think strategically, communicate effectively and use creative storytelling to address real-world challenges across industries.
He noted that the skills acquired through the programme continue to shape his approach to branding, stakeholder engagement and corporate communication.
He explained that his professional experiences at Citi FM/Citi TV, Newmont Africa and now MAC Partners Group have enabled him to bridge the gap between creative communication and technical expertise.
He further stated that combining communication design principles with engineering and mining concepts has strengthened corporate storytelling and enhanced brand visibility within the industry.
