AKWAABA! Welcome to the College of Art and Built Environment of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. This College is the foremost institution in the training of professionals of the built environment and art industry in Ghana. It offers an array of teaching, a research and outreach service programmes in the key disciplines of the art and built environment which includes Architecture, Building Technology, Planning, Land Economy, Communication design, Painting and Sculpture, Rural and Industrial Art and Publishing studies.

The College draws on the advantages of external economics through staff and student exchange programmes with cognate academic institutions in Ghana and abroad. Due to the nature of its training, the products of the College are well sought-after nationally and internationally not only in relation to the art industry and built environment but other spheres of life. These include the areas of law, brokerage, banking, and politics and civil society activities.

The college is poised to reach even further heights with more innovative programmes geared towards preparing its products for the emerging challenges of the ever changing global process. Improved teaching research and learning conditions include the use of ICT and audiovisual facilities. The staff of the College are reputable academics and well accomplished professionals in their various disciplines.
